Don't lie!
Seriously, I watched a Mythbusters episode in which they tried to beat a lie detector test, and they failed miserably,
Your only hope is to screw up the test period (where they ask you questions that they know you won't lie on, so they have a baseline in which to tell when you are lying when they ask the real questions)
So, on the questions in which they will ask you your name, address, and that sort of stuff, you need to induce an anxiety reaction, so that when you do lie, they won't be able to tell it from your baseline reaction. Pain works well (thumbtack inside your shoe, etc). If you clench the spincter muscle in your anus, you will also alter the test results. This probably won't work, but it's worth a shot.
If you haven't lied, and just have to take a lie detector test as part of a work thing, and you are just nervous, relax. If you relax, and stay calm, the test results will be correct.

my mom worked at a some store when she was a teenager and she gave her friends sun glasses without paying for them & someone told on her. the manager or whoever made her take a lie detector test. she passed even tho she was lieing. she said she didnt act nervous, because it makes your heart beat fast and thats how the detector tells if ur lieing.

get some pva glue and rub some on the place where they put the electrodes. This will create a thin film over your skin and will reduce the sensitivity of the reader making your answers undetectable.
this was a guess, sorry ive never taken a lie detector test.

When you are telling the truth, clench your butt. When you are lying , relax it.
Clenching will cause your5 blood pressure to increase.
Lying does too
Hopefully they will get the same reading for your lies as for te truth.
The easiest way is not to lie....

(1) not lying
(2) learning to control your breathing, pulse, and persperation
(3) I've read that having a fantasy during the test that excites you can throw off the results.

In one Law and Order eposide, this guy was able to control his body language, so that the lie dector wouldn't pick up on his lie. it was really cool its with that guy, who played the popular guy in the princess diaries movie. in this law and order the guy was accused of raping two girls and killing one of the girls. it ended up being his grandmother who killed the girl.

best way, if your lying, you must not think about the answers you are saying. You cant think to your self that you are lying or if there gonna catch me or not or if its gonna shake. You have to be calm and clear your mind of everything. Do not think about what there askin you. Seriously.
