Dish TV and Dish Network are the same thing. They're both from EchoStar Communications. Dish and Direct are both digital satilite subscription TV systems. Generally Direct TV is a little heavier in sports, and Dish is a little heavier in drama and movies. I went with Dish because I like movies. Also Dish bought the failed Voom satilite systems, which gave them more high definition channels. But I have friends who have Direct TV and they are very happy with it. You can do all your research on the web on these two companies easily enough.
