Aww..that is awful! Forget her and chat with a real woman.

It sounds very cruel but it depends on what she did to make you think she loved you and was ready to be serious. She may not have realized that she was giving you those thoughts. I recently did that to a guy and I feel terrible about it. I really liked him but I just wasn't ready to get into a relationship. I guess I just didn't realize that he was interested but now he has stopped calling.

Did you meet this girl online, like one of your other questions? I dated online for a while and I think that it's too much of a candy store. You meet someone you really like and they like you and then they wonder... what else is out there? Did I really meet the right one? Maybe I should try one more? She just wasn't ready to settle down, so you're lucky. Maybe she would have cheated later on, so it's her loss... Keep looking, there's love out there.

Yes, it is cruel. Women can be cruel.

Men do it too. It has nothing to doing with being a man or woman; some people are just like that.

BUT, to everyone else out there who rips on her for "getting around", to be fair you need to rip on the guys who "get around" as well.

Yeah, and insecure perhaps...telling you she was just having fun? Maybe she's just scared cuz you were showing her signs you werent serious. Try again, maybe something's there.

well i do not think it was nice of her to do at all....sounds like something guys has done to me...i am sorry for this to happen...but i have been hurt myself this way..all we can do is go on....and put her out of your mind and stay busy and just move on until you heal....i have heard what goes around comes around but this does not help hurt feelings to us...i do not even like that saying but maybe she will learn that it is not really a joking matter....

yes definitely. any form of manipulation, lying and playing games is cruel. people in relationships should always be honest with where they stand or how they feel.

Yes, it was very cruel and I am sorry she treated you that way. No one deserves that. Some day she will get hers for teasing you or anyone else in that way.
