Whereas both are viral infections, the first is transmitted by a mosquito, and the measles is transmitted by droplet infection, as happens after coughing or sneezing. Measles is generally seen in children who have not been vaccinated. Dengue occurs in the adults and there is no prevention, except against a mosquito bite. In rare and sever cases of Dengue fever, rashes may be seen over the body, whereas rash is the hall mark of measles. Other distinguishing features of measles are the Koplik's spots within the mouth and the conjunctival injection.
