according to nestle :

1/2 cup of mini marshmallows is about 1oz and 4 large marshmallows is about 1 oz. Therefore 2 cups mini marshmallows is equal to 4 oz which is equal to 16 large marshmallows.

1 cup of marshmallows i find works the same as a handful. Just put in what you think would be fine.

two cups is two cups. it doesn't matter how big or small they are to start. just make sure you dont have too many gaps in the measuring cup with the large ones.. maybe toss in a couple extra to cover.

3 cups, because once you chop them smaller that will be roughly the same.

chop them first and measure. Chop them on some icing sugar and they wont stick.
