All depends on the breed, but a dog is considered full grown at about 2 years of age.

They say that they are full grown after about a year, but I think it depends on the type of dog that you have because the bigger dogs seem to keep growing for a while. I would say that you can count on your dog for sure being full grown by the age of 3 years.

They reach full size around 1-2 years old. It really depends on the breed - a Great Dane will continue to grow up until he reaches 2 years old or so, but a Chihuahua is usually done growing by 6 months.

Full height is reached on average of 9 months. Some breeds of dogs usually "fill out" extremely wide when they hit 2 to 3 years.

It varies somewhat by breed. Toy and miniature breeds are generally full grown by one year. Larger breeds are full grown at 2 to 2 1/2 years.
