First and foremost, you need to get trims on a regualr basis(every 6-8 wks). If you want your hair to get longer, trims are key. Your hair grows on an average, 1/2 in. a month. It may seem that your hair doesn't grow very fast, but if you had your hair colored, you'd see the same amount of regrowth as most. If you do not cut off any dead split ends, your hair will continue to split until you get them off. It does help to use a shampoo and conditioner that you can only buy in salons. They are much better for your hair than any store bought products. Also, people that buy in the stores a lot of times do not want to pay more for their products. But, the fact is , your salon shampoos last longer because they are more concentrated. It is best to get them when they're on sale or in a promotional pack. The salon that I work at has sales on products every month. You can get (2) liter size bottles for around $20. That would last someone with average length and thickness hair about 4-6 months.

While hair grows an average of 1/2" per month, everyone's growth rate does differ, largely due to genetics and how they care for their hair. You can't do anything about genetics. Your growth rate is what it is. But, you can maximize the health and strength of your hair, causing it to look and feel better and protect it from damage that makes it seem that your hair is growing more slowly than it is.
First, be very gentle to your hair! Use gentle products. Don't pile your hair on top of your head when you wash it. Rather, use diluted shampoo and gently pat and squeeze your hair to wash it. Rinse and apply a rich conditioner. Gently comb from the ends up with a wide tooth seamless shower comb. rinse and put a drop of conditioner in your dripping wet length and ends. Don't rub your hair with a towel. Blot. Then gently comb, from the ends up, again.
Never, never, never brush wet hair! It causes stretching, breakage and splitting. All of which will slow your growth. Don't let a hairstylist use a brush on your wet hair, either! They should know better! If they try to, make them stop. If they insist, get out of the chair and get your hair away from them.
Avoid heat. Blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons and hot rollers are death to long, beautiful hair! And those "protectors?" Don't protect against squat. So, air dry your hair and stay away from heat.
Wear your hair in protective styles. Updos are the best way to protect your hair. Don't wear it down in the wind and don't subject it to friction. Use hair-safe ties and toys. Stay away from ties that have metal on them. Use plastic hair pins. Invest in a good quality clip, like a Ficarre or a good quality fakkare. It will help you do nice updos and is hair safe.
Try to get a satin pillowcase to sleep on to reduce friction to your hair. Braid or bun your hair for bed.
Trim only when you need one. If your ends are even, soft and you don't have splits and breakage, you do not need a trim! Then just do a micro trim. (1/4" or so.) Contrary to popular belief, trimming your hair all the time will not make it grow. It will only make your hair shorter. Remember, if your hair grows 1/2" a month and you trim 1/2' or 1" every six to eight weeks, you are trimming away all your gained length! That can make it seem as if your hair is not growing, or growing very slowly.
Do a search and find and join a good long hair site or community. They are gold mines of information and support for growing and keeping long, beautiful hair.
Good luck. I HTH a little.

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMKC0 Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

You can do several things to help hair growth. The best is to take some vitamin E or increase vitamin E in your diet. Also scalp massage, getting regular trims, and some people swear by using horse shampoo and conditioner (gives you silky and shiny hair).
