i was wanting to know ,not to cheat,but have heard stories,i wanted to know of someone first hand--i will not hurt anyone or cheat

Yes, they work, per a friend of mine with a lot of dui's. You can only cheat by getting someone else to blow in them. Just be aware that by the time you have one of these on your car - if court ordered - any accident you cause while drinking will probably result in prison time for assault with a deadly weapon or straight murder - not negligent homicide.

My ex-husband had one after his DWI, and yes, they do work. You blow into a tube to start your vehicle, and also at random when it makes a sound reminding you to do so. These devices are very sensitive to alcohol, even shaving lotion can set them off! And yes! there are ways to cheat them, but why run that risk??? You could lose a lot more than your driving privileges. Think about it! Learn from this experience, PLEASE.

my buddy had one and there is no way to cheat it if you are drinking, but u can have someone who hasn't had anything to blow in it.
