i often get left on the shelf becouse i am not a slim super model and basicly its driving me nuts im not stunning im not fancy im me and men just dont want to date a single mum a lady who isnt a size 12 or under why? larger ladys have a heart too and single mums can be just as great as a stunning model type maybe just maybe more loyal.

i do not go to bars ect and i have dated but it never goes beond second date i have found some great people and friends but i never seem to be the kind of lady that men want to spend more time with i can be shy but at the same time i can hold a chat i have a sweet personality as some one recently told me yet its not enough and as for selfasteem got that i know what i want i havnt set my self up to fail im not looking for stunning just kind genteal and nice with understanding yet that seems to much.

dont feel bad...im 5'10 average build women say im real goodlookin but yet i cant seem to find a nice lady these days..they all have attitudes and thats a big big turn off. i use to only go for slim beautiful women but.....at 31 i finally realized i dont wanna put up with the crap those so called "pre-madonnas"give ya.....be patient before u know it you'll meet a nice guy...be confident and have faith!

I agree, no need to defend yourself.
Left on the shelf? Were you on display? If you are talking about a bar where people are pairing up and you get left out -- then you are going to the wrong place!
Lots and lots of single men out there (like me!) who cannot stand the meat market feeling of a single's bar. Go someplace else and find someone who has the same interests as you.

Unfortunately looks are the first impression you get of anyone. not all men want 'barbie' girlfriends. remember that some women only want men with no kids so it's not exclusive to women. some men want a fancy girl to go with his fancy car. keep looking girl. x

I like my women with meat on their bones! Skinny aint for me. A single mom will be the best lover you will find. But one must win her trust and that of her childern. Most single moms aint into "one nighters" They require time and trust. Good luck to you finding your "right" man.
