Usually no, if someone dies the ticket is void and there is no money returned. Airlines do sell "accidental death and dismemberment insurance" though in case of such an incident. Some travel agencies and other insurance agencies (IE: AAA, Allstate, etc...) offer this as well.

People wouldn't worry about getting their money back if a friend or relative just died! I really think you should ask REAL questions. This is also a bad time to talk about plane crashes. With the Comair Crash and the anniversary of 9/11 coming up, people are bound to be offended.

You can't, but your estate may be able to. It was a breach of contract since you didn't reach your destination.

no you cant you are dead but your family will get alot of money. unless you are lucky and not die.
