Age doesn't matter. I am with a man, now, and he is 8 years older than me. When I was in High School, I had friends as a Senior, that dated women four years younger.
Age is a number, it is according to the guy's maturity level to yours! As boys don't ever really grow up, but they can still be mature and be a boy, at the same time!
PLUS, ASK HIM!!! Ask him if he wants to go out and if he says yes, you know he likes you, if he says well, and comes up with an excuse, there is a better person out there, for you, and better to know, NOW, than to think of it all of them time, on WHAT IF?. Then, you don't know what the future holds, as one day he might fall in love with you and be your man for life, but remember things happen for a reason, and if it was mean to be, it will happen at it's own time! Keep us updated!

this 4 years difference is only a problem if you are 15 or under and hes over 18 if those are not the cases it doesnt matter the age. i dont know if the boy is serious but most of the time the girl can tell. if he wants to have sex with you right away then you will know that he just wanted to bag a virgin. and then he will dump you after words.

If you are under 18 four years can be alot but if not go for it. I tried guys the same age, younger and now I am with a man 17years older than me and we are more in love and I respect him more than any of the others.

i do not think the age difference should matter... 4 years is not bad at all....but i do hope he means it....you should think about the way he has acted toward you and think about the things he has said....and maybe you will know more if he means it or not...there is no way that i would know...but i hope for your sake he does...and i hope all works out well and you are happy...real happiness is so hard to find these days...

well it really depends on how old you are.... but if you really like him and he really likes you girl go for it.... i would...i used to like this guy and he waz 5 years older than me but i didnt crae i knew i waz fallin for him but i realized he waz older and he waz looking for more than jus a 13 year old girl that waz scared to make a commitement.. so jus follow ur heart and quit bein so insecure.
