Been dating my best friend for two years. First year we kept the relationship very private. We were both still married, I was seperated and NOT living with my ex-divorce was pending. He had been separated for 7 ears just never filed for divorce b/c he said he was never going to marry again. That is unless (and he used to say this often) unless I was available and would marry him. we both talked about never getting married again unless it was to each other, we discussed this when we were jsut friends. Now we have become exclusive. He even filed for and went through with divorce which no one ever believed possible. We both have young children and have slowly introduced them to our dating. They all get along,as they knew each other for years before we dated. How long do I wait for marriage proposal. i want us to be together all the time. as it is now b/c we have young kids, we can only be together overnight on the nights my kids are with my ex and his kids are with hs ex. i want us to be together as a family, not live two seperate lives, one with our kids and one with each other. Do I tell him? How do I tell him?

Would have thought he'd have proposed by now.Ask him if he wants to get married again,at some point.I waited 3 years for it to happen ! By the time he did propose, I'd got sick of waiting and decided to split if it took him that long to make his mind up about me

Just ask him if he ever thinks you two will get married. That way you'll at least know if he has no intention of it. Then you can decide if it's worth it to stay in the relationship or not. I don't think two years is too long in your situation. You've had lots of baggage to work through. It may take some more time.

Yes I would tell him exactly how you feel , just be frank about it tell him how you feel about marriage to him , go ahead maybe he wants to ask you but afraid to..Let him know you love him and you want to marry him..Good Luck, which I don't believe you need it..Go for it..

well bring it up gently tell him you would like to marry again thats what my aunt did it worked nicely. she did it in a comfortable place so he didnt feel pressured..like in a resturant with people staring. she did it at her house. so they were comfy and i think she was just talking like normal stuff then she said i would like to get married again just to start the convos. but make sure he is comfy and wait till u think hes ready
