The family of the girl I like just made friends with the family of my best friend (guy) and now both families are all cool and frindly and they see each other a lot. I am afraid my friend might take my girl. HELP!!!

First of all, its LOSING. One "o".
Let's hope this girl isn't looking for an intelligent guy. Because if your buddy can spell, you've already lost this one.
I wouldn't worry about their families being tight though. It will just make them more like brother and sister. It will for sure complicate things. Do you think she wants to always hang out with her parents and his parents. You're still in the running because you are the escape vehicle.
Send her some flowers or something. Don't give up. And while you're shopping for stuff for her pick up some Hooked on Phonics for yourself.

Well, that is just silly! First off just because your parents make friends with the neighbors and they have a daughter that is your age...that doesn't mean that you have to like it. Ask your friend about it. See if he is into her. If he is then one of you needs to back off...or ask her who she likes...if he doesn't then great...he can maybe help you out.

Trust your instincts with your girl. Have a talk with him about friendship and respect. If neither one listens they don't deserve you. Stay cool and don't over react. Best of Luck
