I took him for a walk,held him,took a nap with him.he is eating and drinking.

I take him with me most of the time when I go some where.He is a small dog,7 years old.

He went to the vet Aug.15.Every thing was ok. He did get attacked by a big dog July 22.I took him to the vet July 25.He had soft tissue damage and the vet put him on some pain meds and some amoxicillin.He was back to him self.The last vet visit was great.

he might be ready for a vet check.. Papillons commonly have low thyroid, and this could be the reason for lethargy or inactivity.. it is very cheap to treat, with a daily pill.
otherwise, if you know he is in good health, and is eating a quality kibble..Learning new tricks will add spice to his life, and the teaching of new tasks will add spice to your life as well.

I saw this TV show on PBS called All Creatures Great and Small about vets in Yorkshire England. They had a show were the dog lost his fellow dog friend and was really very dispressed for weeks. They thought he might die. Then one day someone was trying to steal their car and the dog sprang to life and ran after the thief and lost their depression. I think because the dog felt responsible and like he was needed. Just like people I bet. :) Good luck.

pay attention to him every once and awhile. Do you work. If you do, then hes probably missing the owner, thats why. If thats not it or continues for awhile, see the local vet, something may be wrong, this happened to my dog

he needs a mate... all living things need a partner, and your dong needs some action!!! satisfy his needs and he will be one happy puppy!!!
