dear jared ,
1. arabs had a pretty had time for the whole last century , does it mean that we can came and build our own countries in europe!!!
2. throughout time , there something called justice and rights , what u want me to get over it is to come to ur house dear and get u and ur family outta it and tell u with a smile : " throughout history people have fought and the losing side has lost land. GET OVER IT ."
does that drop ur right to get back to ur life ?!
hey dear , the bloody ages r over !
4. and if USA and europe r so sympathetic with jews , why donot they absorb it in thier civilized lands away from the savage arabs !
5. who leave whom ! , the great big modern army who controls every inch or the small groups of fighters who just keep thier women and children away from the night bombing ?

Dear Mac
i really wanna thank u alot for ur respectable discussion , iam not a specialist ofcourse but i did read about the history of palastein , from many different sources and i admit that they were arabic sources and text books , although i guess they were for fair writers and authors
first who had been in palastien who left the oldest marks and ancient buildings were " el kan'anians" , and they were in vasts of palastein, and from them " the yabosians " who lived in " Jerusalem" _ for sure all those ARABIAN FOLKS follow inhabitants of " areha " who r of unknown origin up to date , according to my knowledge.
and areha was the oldest town in the area _ the eighth century B.C _
, jews were moved to palastien in the era of the prophet " jacob" , the son of " eshaQ " the son of abraham.
then they all moved again to egypt and return to palastien and lived their always as usual immigrants.
iam typing from the book " palastien history " for "TAREK SWEDAN" and his sources are :

As a American I see Israel as a leech upon us. I wish America would sever our ties with them, they cannot be trusted, and have betrayed us before. I am tired of America being Israels attack dog.

If we agree -as you say - that Jews have the right to build their own country ,it simply means that the Palestinians were sitting in someone else's home.
The land of the Jews was around Jerusalem ,which was their sacred city. They were forced off by the Romans.Other people moved in.Should the Jews never get their homeland back ,because someone else moved in?
It doesn't sound right to me.
The Palestinians ,which were a Jordanian community ,should be given the means to start a new life in Jordan. They never had a state ,never had Jerusalem as a capital ,they were part of a state that is still there.I really don't understand why they are still living in camps after 58 years ,and after all the money they have been given all these years.
As for Israel ,it should be left alone ,to exist in peace ,in it's historical borders ,as any other nation.

Dear Mahmoud
The Arabs moved in the area long after the Jews had left.History and sources place the Jews in that part of the world since the pharaohs. It is found not only in the old testament ,but in ancient Greek writers ,Romans etc.
Besides ,the Islamic tradition considers as an Arab the one "that descent from Isma'il (Ishmael) son of The Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham)".So the Jews come first.
" el aqsa mosque " , a holy place for Muslims as you say puzzles me.How can it be UNDER holy Jewish buildings ,which are so much older?Jerusalem and its Jewish buildings are 3000 years old and Islam only 1400 years old.El-Aksa Mosque was built around 710.Why do you think it is UNDER much older buildings?
http://www.atlastours.net/holyland/al_aqsa_mosque.html
Besides it doesn't matter who else was in the area.It is certain that the Jews were there. And they were nowhere else.So ,where should they have their homeland according to you?
As for my sources dear Mahmoud ,i have a master's in History. We ,in the rest of the world ,with no intrests invested in this area ,have a totally different view of its history than you.We can be objective since we don't have to worry about politics ,nationalism ,ethnick pride ,religious pride etc.
And i would like to add that i am enjoying very much this whole Q&A with you.It is an honest exchange of opinions ,not like the name calling ,abuse and foul language we so often find in this site
Thank you
Dear Mahmoud
I understand you use Arab sources. We all use local sources ,unless we study the subject.
However you did not answer the question:where should the Jews have their homeland? To me that is the root of the problem. These people lived there and created a civilisation there.Where else could they go?

i think the following at the "ordinary" level 1. the jews have had a pretty bad time for thousands of years and are sick of it. 2. throughout history people have fought and the losing side has lost land. get over it. 3. leave israel alone and it will leave the arabs alone. 4. if the arabs are so sympathetic to the palestineans, let them absorb at least some of their population. 5.once israel has been left alone for a while the palestineans will have their state. 6. the big issue may very well be far beyond the "ordinary" points above. namely: the "elites" who run the world profit in many ways from constant turmoil, war and depopulation.. exactly what is happening in the middle east daily. perhaps they created israel to make sure this continues "forever". think about that ;-)

You wrote "what do u think about israel :) , an egyptian muslim is asking?!?"
I am an American Jewish immigrant living in Israel answering your question.
I love Israel - it's my homeland - homeland of the Jews.
I am sorry that we have to live with the constant stress and uncertainty of terrorism and war because the Palestinians refuse to negotiate and compromise. They are only interested in the destruction of Israel rather than having their own state. The proof is that when we left Gaza, instead of building the land that was given to them, they use it as a launching pad to send bombs to Israel. Too bad that they don't know what is in their best interests.

Well with my christian upbringing I have been taught that the 3 major religions of the region stem from the same person that being Abraham. We are all worshiping the same god in different manners. Unfortunately their are factions in all 3 religions that want to take things to the extreme. Man has been killing man in the name of God for centuries. I feel Israel has the right to exist as a nation as do the Palestinians. We are all children of god and if you follow the teachings of Judaism, Jesus or Muhammad then you must have tolerance and love for your fellow man.

To tell you the truth, to me Israel is just another country and has the right to do what it wants to. I see this with any country in the world. If they would all mind their own country and so what they want to do there and leave the rest of the world alone, there would be no problems. Besides, Israel and the other Countries in that area have been around long before the rest of the world so they should have ALL learned by now!!!!

The Bible says there will come a day when Egypt and Assyria shall make a third with Israel, all under the rulership of the God who created us all, the Almighty, the Covenant God of Israel, the one who provides, guides, and is the Light for all mankind.
Until that day comes, there will be nothing but war. I long for that day to come, and for there to be peace among God's peoples.
