what do you think of voodoo?

ok i make voodoo dolls of certain people i dont like, do you think that is odd? im not trying to hurt them, but my creating the doll it just relieves my stress twards that person

I practice Vodou. In Vodou we honor our ancestors, serve the lwa and praise Bondye (God). Voodoo dolls are not a practice of ours. They are a Hoodoo practice that used sympathetic magic to affect a person. The doll must have something personal from that person in order for it to be effective.

Hoodoo is african folk magic. It's main practice originated in New Orleans among the creole people. I am currently taking a course in the practice of Hoodoo.

I think voodoo is a hoax. If you are Christian in any way you will stop making those dolls. Voodoo is a psychological thing, it will only hurt you if you allow your mind to believe that it will. It's fake. You need to put the voodoo dolls away and open up a Bible or say a prayer to relieve stress. And if that's too heavy for you, maybe you should take an exercise class or join a gym.

Voodoo is considered a black magick. If you are hurting them then you are really hurting yourself. If you are just making poppets then it shouldn't be a big problem. Remember not to try magick if you don't understand it! It is dangerous!
