I have heard about this stuff that is supposed to give you some protection against these cameras set up by the police that will take a picture of your license plate and mail a ticket to the registered owner of the car.

Anyone ever buy any of this spray before? Can I do the same thing if I just sprayed a gloss or matt finish clearcoat on my plates instead of paying 25 dollars for a can of this stuff?

Anyone on here use this before?

It doesn't work..............all it does is reduce the reflective...the figures are still legible..those plastic license covers are illegal in 48 states and fines are stiff...the tape that deflects the legibility of the charachters on the plate...Illegal as well

Fines for use of these items range from a modest $250.00 TO $25,000.00 AND JAIL TIME IN SOME WEST COAST STATES

Radar Dectectors are also illegal in a lot of states now and thee police are equiped with radar detector detectors.......The state of Va. has fines starting at $500.00 for their use and if you get caught multiple times they take your car/truck...not impound but take permanantly.

My advice is to just drive the limit and conserve fuel...be a good American and play by the rules

Just obey the law and you won't have to worry about the cameras.

Seems to me the police would put cars with plate covers on a watch list.

If they have something to hide they must be doing something illegal.

those sprays dont work that well, there are license plate covers that has this strip similar to those things that you can see different images from a different angle, these work better than the sprays.

One of the local news channels did a test on those sprays and the picture actually came out better. Don't waste your money on those craps.
