nice question. Extrapolating why with water, and why for a whole year would God keep his favorite family off the land? I would have to say that what he eradicated was the missing link of Darwinism. Which also means it never will be found. The toxicity of the water can be seen evidenced in the Western states with strange scum bubbles, found equal distances from the peaks and the valley floors which I am sure is not the technical term for them, but that's what they look like.

Respectfully Tutor, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? God sent his son Jesus who was without sin to pay the price for all sinners. He was hung on a cross with nails through his hands and feet, Crucifiction is a horrid way to die, all this after carving and carrying his own cross several miles. At any point in the proceedings he could have called the Angels and said " No Father it is too much" I cant do it". His love for us rather than the nails in his body are what kept him on the Cross.

If you're talking about the Flood. God had to drown them bc they'd become so evil. He decided to wipe everyone out, and only spared Noah and his family bc they were still obeying Him. After committing sin for a long time, ppl become corrupted, and can get to a point that they'll never repent. At that point, all they'll do is evil, and they have to die or they'll keep making things worse.

If you are NOT a christian, good question.
If you ARE a christian, it is a foolish stupid question.
First of all, Jesus DIED on the cross, NOT "drowned". He died so that we may live.
Second of all, God knows better than you or me how to raise our kids. Why is it that the majority of children of Christian parents are BETTER people than those children of non-christian parents?
The same thing can be said about marriage too. God teaches us through His Word, He gives us Wisdom to know how to have better relationships, how to deal with problems, etc. Man had limited knowledge of such things.

don't you think you should punish your children if they are bad? And death to God is not exactly a bad thing. It's not like death is an end to all things. To God it would be equivalent to grounding. Big deal. You leave your earthly form and go home. Kinda like if your kids are at someones house and they are misbehaving. You scold them and make them come home.
I see nothing wrong with that.

hello hes God!!! he drown them because they were corrupted. without god ur nothing so he gets rid of it. he saved the only ones that were following gods path and those were noahs family. thats how we should be.
