It's mistifying. When something is clear as day, yet someone who believes in their religion so fervently that they refuse to see the facts before them. They come up with every excuse in the book as to why something occured or how something occured.

What are the raw facts and where did you come by them? Not only that, if religion is a bunch of crap then what do you care if someone believes it anyway? I mean if they aren't hurting you then you should just shut up and let them believe what they want. You do not like them pushing religion at you, so do not force your theories down theirs. Common courtesy is all. I am a Christian by the way and I think people have various reasons for believing and if believing gets them through a hard day or guides them through a tough life, who are you to try and make them disbelieve? Atheists just see themselves being badmouthed because of questions like this yet they do not see how hypocritical they are being. Live and let live. You don't tell me I can't believe and I won't tell you what to believe.

Most of what they believe to be true comes from one source. They lack the skill to question. They have it drummed into them that what they have just read is the only truth. If they come across an alternative they refuse to believe it. Almost brainless behavior when it comes to belief. Some, who will remain nameless, have tried to prove that the moon has been split. Faith approaching madness.

Your perseption of truth and raw facts may be wrong. Every body sees things different.

Who cares about what seems to be a true fact down here on earth when there are real truths in god and in heaven to have faith in.

Because they would rather believe a friend who is wrong than look it up when prom-ted.
People are basically lazy, when it comes to reading something, especially when it is in the bible! Perhaps the book is too big or heavy?

It is more difficult in not accepting the Bible than to accept it. It is as clear as Day and even better at night.

Why don't you go ahead and live your pagan life, and leave the believers alone? We are happy and content in our faith, know we are right, and someday it will be proven to you. Go your way, Satan, and stay away from me and mine.

I'm all for religion but looking at all the horrors and atrocities it has caused people to commit...Let's just say I'm happier when people keep their religions to themselves.

Your question is not clear. What "facts" do you speak of? Your question is not clear and cannot be answered.
