Depending on your addiction...try meetings...N/A, C/A, A/A, etc. The programs involve steps to freedom. I am a recovering drug addict and I attend N/A. I work the program and have a sponsor. Also....ask God...he is listening..

besides all that, depending on your addiction, there are help/support groups available. partner up with someone who is also trying to give up an addiction and support each other through it.

Therapy with an addiction specialist. CDAC is the initials, for certified drug and alcohol/addiction counselor.
