they will be held accountable... it is not for us to judge. remember Christ talking about taking the plank out of your own eye before worrying about the sliver in their own. from the bible though, we have enough information to tell us whether or not we are risking ourselves to that end. begging with someone to turn away from that which the bible states will end in death and hell is very different than telling someone they are going to hell if they don't change their ways. very few of us spend enough time in the bible to know ourselves if we have any assurance of going to heaven let alone telling someone else where they are going. which is why so many get offended. zeal without knowledge is not good.
Prov.19:2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.

I would say that is religious igorance if some tells you that your going to hell for you religious beliefs. The only person who can judge a person's right to go to hell or heaven is God.

He may be. But for a different reaosn. Christians should treat others, especially unbelievers with love. Not saying that warning people of an impending doom is not loving them,, but there may be better wys of getting the message to them. And God would agree with these people because jEsus is the way the truth and the life and no one can get to the Father (and heaven) except through Him, so if they hold different beliefs than the Chrsitian, meaning they haven't accepted Christ and the Holy Spirit is not within them, then they are going to hell. And God is for truth not aginst it, so e would not be mad for them telling the truth, I dont think.

Matthew 7:1 Judge not lest ye be judge.
If you read this verse in the Bible it indicates, whatever judgment/measure we hold others to, God will also judge us by that same measure. So, before people start damning folks to Hell, they should take a look at their lives to be sure that everything is in order. I would bet that if they were examining their own lives, they would not have time to go around damning other people because they would be too busy cleaning up the messes they have made.

It would depend upon whether what the religious person is saying was consistent with what God himself has said, according to the scriptures. For example, if a fundamentalist Christian were to tell someone, "If you don't believe that drinking alcohol is a sin, you're going to hell," that would be wrong because God never said anything of a kind. However, if a fundamentalist Christian were to tell someone, "If you refuse to believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead, you're going to hell," that would be right because that's what the Bible says.

Well you can read anything you want into any religion you want. But the simple fact is There is nobody that can tell you what is going to happen when you die. We can only fall to our beliefs. But we can use our common sense... Does it make sense that only the few people of that persons religion are going to be "SAVES". I think not. How about people that have never even heard of that religion. Are they still condemned? I think not. The only think I can figure is if you live a good life. You will be fine. If you don't well...Life is a circle... It all comes around.

I don't think God approves of such actions. When God instructed believers to be a witness to "Him" I think many have the idea they have to bang on peoples doors and convert them to what they believe. These people are not seeing the "true light" The very best witness one can be for God is by example! When others see how a true believer of God behaves in their daily life and count their many Blessings. That in itself is far better than trying to force what you believe on your neighbor!

You would think so. If you are the person being sent to hell you should tell the sender that you heard Jesus conquored hell, so they must not believe in Jesus very much. The key word is heard.

You are right - God is the only one who decides that, and there's no way people can know what his decision will be for any individual.

He would probably forgive the person.
If you don't agree with the person, then don't let it bother you. If you think there is a chance you'll go to Hell, then do something about it.
Because I already have a relationship with God....I don't let what other people say bother me.
