I heard you only learn in thirty minute intervals, so if you study for 2 hours, you will only remember what you studied the first thirty minutes and the last hour and a half would be a waste of time. So I guess start studying 30 minutes a day in advance. I'm guessing your teachers tell you that there will be a test a week or longer before the actual test starts dont they?

I usually do 1/2 an hour to one full our on a test.
1/2 an hour on a quiz.
But if it's something I already know just a half hour.
If it's a midterm or exam about 1 hour each.

it depends on how much you like the subject if you can study the subject very easily it shouldn't take more than 15 min but if the subject comes hard to you pray and study are the two major things you will have to do

read the chapter and know the basics as well as some detail. pay attention in class and do your homework! overall, it should take about an hour and a half. if you know what you're doing. if you don't ask for tutoring or outside help.

There is no right answer to this. It depends upon how much you retain from lectures in class and whether you originally read the material and how much you retain. So those are three variables to consider.

Usually not long at all. I just put on some music to get my blood flowing to my brain, and I just get at it. Usually, maybe only 20 minutes or less.
