You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help

Please be tolerant of others. I'm not Christian, but we all must respect each others beliefs. I see where your coming from and you have the right to believe that. So let others believe what they wish without being made fun of.

If you are referring to the Bible with all the above mentioned, then I will say that you don't know what you are talking about. I'm thinking that you never read the book. If you did read it, you would know there's no mention of talking animals and wizards. Maybe the devil is referred to as a demon. People didn't walk on water. Only Jesus did that. The food falling from the sky was Manna and that was to feed the Jews while they wandered through the desert. There's no magic in the Bible. It's all supernatural and that's a totally different thing than magic. Maybe the stories are primitive, but remember that these things that were written about happened more than 2000 years ago.

I'm Catholic and I don't pray for atheists. I don't even give them a second thought. They don't need my help. I don't obsess over a person's religious orientation. I don't even initiate talk of religion. I just answered you because you asked a question.

First of all, just because one is atheist, does not mean they are not a good and moral person (poster number 1). And second, keep God and religion to yourself, because the rest of the world either doesn't want to hear it, or they will find it on their own.

(Sorry, I know that wasn't an answer to your question, but some people!)

Maybe you need helping in looking at it form bnoth sides of the issue. I see your point, but have you looked at the historical accuracy of the Bible? Nothing has been found to contradict it. And Christians pray for unbeleivers because it is in their teachings to do so. I'm not sure why you seem so annoyed/confused about it. They say that because they think since we are able to fly, have moveable carriages without horses, magicians and the internet, anything's possible. Poor dears.
