Don't worry, Maui has everything taken care of. Most of the food (and wine) is shipped not locally grown, but the selection is close to that of California. Prices are about the same as in CA as well. Maybe a little higher. if you are exremely picky about wines, it is better to go to wine country in California. But if you're satisfied with an average taste - you will be fine.

Maui is a lot more laid back than Oahu and it isn't as commercialized. It has less of a great selection of wines than Oahu or the Big Island.

This will never do. I really must change my plans. Well maybe not, I hate wine.
