I was really stupid about life at 20. I'm 32 and I'm still pretty stupid about it. Recognizing my stupidity is the first step towards wisdom...

This depends on what you mean by SMART! Book smart or life smart!
Every one grows according to the events in their lives! Girls feel they are the smartest and males feel they are the smartest! Both are smart in their own respective area!
Both in a few decades will look back and see how ignorant they really were! I think we all do that for sure, lol. Life is all about learning!
Your question can be confusing! Each person should not be judged based on another or a group!
Knowledge is wisdom, Life is all about learning! If you are wise then you learn all that you can! Then wisdom can be yours be for death!
Sadly some folks still die pretty dumb! Males and females!

No they are not stupid .They have not matured enough yet.Most older MEN know not to (play )and enjoy life better. They are more settled, as for a 20 yrs old they are after instant pleasure.I'm not saying all 20yr olds.Because some of them are mature.It really depends on what kind of stupid you are talking about.

I'm 16 and I think and look like a 20 year old. I'll say, I'm not too intelligent, but smart for my age.. Not necessarily SUPER smart, just above average than most.

Ha, at that age none of us are as smart as we think we are...that only comes with maturity. The stupidity will improve with age. Generally women mature in their twenties and thirties and men take a lot longer.
