Well the green coloring means it has an infection. But normally chows are known for having sinus and eye problems but you really need to bring the dog to the doctor. Sounds like an eye infection. Good luck.

Hi, I am a professional dog groomer. Sounds like your dog has an infection going on if it's green in color. Check with your vet about an eye ointment antibiotic. If the problem consists after treatment, have you dog seen by the vet. Also you can take a warm moist wash cloth and wipe gently around the eye. Hope this helps!

Sounds like a little eye infection. Get some eye drops for "SENSITIVE" eyes. I had to do this with my cat one year when he got infection in both eyes. It helped clear them up right away. I talked to my vet about it and he agreed. Call your vet and see if he/she says it's okay just to be on the safe side.

I think you need to take your dog to the vet asap! It could be a bad infection!
