My boyfriend told me that I have a bad temper. He was trying to be funny but I didn't think so. My temper is not bad but his foolishness is getting on my nerves. What should I do?

Stop being so subjective! Work that temper. A temper is not necessarily a bad thing when it is used for good instead of evil...and as far as your boyfriend goes, give him a little slack. Guys have a way of putting their foots in their mouth at the perfect time. So you can't take everything that he says literally ...just laugh at it like you would a retarded babboon sticking a banana in the wrong hole. As far as your boy getting on your nerves, well, the best way to say it is...dating is just a precursor to marriage. You are testing men to see if you can tolerate them enough to take the next step. If you can tolerate this guy the best out of all the other men that you have dated...at least he is one up...but you need to figure out whether you can tolerate his little peckadillos well enough to keep him. If you can't take it, you don't need it...but just remember this...as foolish as you think he is....that is just what your temper is like to him...so it goes both ways.

It's never your fault is it?!?!?! People with a bad temper hardly ever see their own faults. Trust me, I have a bad temper too. It took a divorce and the loss of some of my closest friends before I realized that I'm the one with a problem.

My advice is to check into an anger management class. Just do a little background into whether your temperament is considered a "bad" temper. If signs show that you frequently "fly off the handle", then I'd say get some counseling. Also, two immature people can't be in a long lasting relationship. It never works.

Sounds like a bad temper to mean.

If he told you this he probably wasn't joking, maybe you do have a bad temper, it's not just some men that have anger management issues. Certainly he was foolish when you met him and probably hasn't changed much, so maybe move on if you can't stand him.

Tell your boyfriend that you think that he is a very foolish man who needs to grow up and when he acts foolish, you lose your temper. Plain and simple.

He probably does these things to get a rise out of U. With that in
mind, try not to let him get under ur skin. The next time he says or does something to excite U, ignore him. Believe it or not, he probably enjoys proving himself right each time ur temper flairs. When he sees that he can no longer get to U, he'll stop.

Why don't you talk to him about it? Ask him what incidences he can use as an example of why he thinks of your temper like that. If he has no good reasons, kindly confront him of his foolishness.

are you sure your temper isn't bad? because if it's not, why should he tell you that it is?

how's your relationship with him anyway? but if you think you have every right to be mad at him, that's not temper. you're just being human. every person has their limits and you've just reached yours.

Talk about it instead of getting mad about it. If your not compatible then keep it movin for the next guy. No point in being unhappy.
