I have a female cat named Max. I don't like girly names. I think that your names are good. Plus, I love Gremlins.

Gizmo is male, though Smudge could work for a girl.

Gizmo is kinda male but Smudge is pretty unisex. Ultimately it doesnt matter. I have a male cat whose name is China and another that is Washu. Both are kinda female names but hey they answer to them

Why does it matter they are kitty call them what you will, I had a female cat and named her Harley because I have always wanted a pet with that name.
