DO not become a scientologist. They are full of crap, It is a made up religion,

yes they will ask for a bunch of money and tell you that they can cure all of your problems which is false..

From what I understand over the lifetime of a "normal" member it would come to between $250,000 to $500,000. If you were rich, look towards $1,000,000. Some of the "higher auditing courses" are $100,000 each.
And yes, they will recommend mortgaging your house to "learn."
This is why they are ILLEGAL in Germany, there they are considered a Pyramid scheme or a scheme to make money.

Any following that requires you to pay them is not worth following. From what little I know about the scam they are after the same thing as other religions who don't expect anything from you except your faith.
