Well when u don`t like Ur curly crazy out of control hair u want it to stay down and when u have straight hair it`s BORING to u when it stays and does nothing , when u curl it it has some body 2 it.

Uhm, I have straight hair and I leave it alone.
Some women think curly hair is hot, so they like to curl their hair. But women with naturally curly hair tend to think it's a pain in the butt, so they straighten it out. Whatever works.

You don't have to do anything. Simply wear a hair design that you think looks good on you. You could consult a stylist at a salon, or look at pictures in magazines, to get an idea of the possibilities, but do not let anyone make the final decision except yourself -- you are the one who has to live with it.

Hair styles are like clothes, they go in and out of fashion. But some blokes can wear their hair the same for ten years or more, and no one bats an eye lid!

that's true..
my hair is soo straight and i would LOVE to curl it, but my friends have wavy/curly hair and would LOVE to have my hair!
i agree, it's very strange!!
people probably just want something different
i have lived with straight hair all my life, and would really like to experience wavy/curly hair

well mines wavy, if i leave it to dry or blow dry it it doesnt stay wavy and goes frizzy. So i straighten and sometimes i have it curly (just to see what it would look like if it stayed wavy!)
its good to have a choice of curly or straight, its nice to have a change as well.

i have very long curly hair and it has been the same pretty much all my life. a couple of monto i bought some GHD'S and it's nice for a change every now and again, you get sick of looking at the same thing everyday!

Because people want to do different things with there hair instead of having their usual like me my hair is flat but every morning I use hair gel to stick it up because it's doing something different.
