I think that the 1% answer rate that you are referring to may be the rate of prayers answered, "Yes." ALL prayers are answered. Some answers may be "yes," others may be "no," and still others may be "wait." There are many different ways in which God answers prayers. Most of them require patients and continual asking. Some prayers are answered "no" because they are selfish or because God has another plan for that particular situation. I'm sorry to anyone whose prayers have not been answered as they wish, but you have to be willing to wait. God isn't like a vending machine; you can't just push a button and get exactly what you want...but DO keep in mind that He's always there. I hope you get a lot from this.

Um, no. You don't know what you are talking about there guy. There is duality: sure we have free-will, yet, there are some things destined to happen. God sending blessings is not intervening with the free-will process. You answered your own question (if that's what you want to call it; it seems like you only made a desperate plea for attention): it was the the choice / free will of the human that made them pray in the first place; the Christian asked for assistance, God did not impose it on them. And do not say 99 percent of prayers aren't answered; it's more complicated. With your remedial mind, you may not understand, however, I will explain it to you. You must WAIT on the Lord. Satan and his demonic forces (forces I believe have heavily plagued you) do things to cause delays in the "answered prayer" allowing time for whoever who prayed to lose hope, thus demolishing their own blessing. You believe, or else you wouldn't be questioning.

Okay. One, that is not a statistic. You made that number up because all prayers are answered. It may not be the answer you want but they are answered. Two, I take this question as an insult to God, myself, and the millions of others of faith. And three, the "other 99 percent of unanswered prayers as it wasnt gods will or some other response like that" if it wasn't God's will then so be it. He said NO, but NO is still an answer.

If your going to answer your own question why post?
God's answer rate is far more than 1% I am living proof of that. Your right, God did gives us free will that is why most people who pray to win the lottery don't. But I have had prayer after prayer answered by God, things that could not have happened on their own. There is a God research and you will find your answers. I suggest A Case for Christ, you can proably get it anywhere. Read that then tell me there is not God.

1. God, like most parents, always answers prayers; just sometimes He gets to say no. No is still an answer.
2. People are free to choose whatever they want to do or say.
3. God intervenes on behalf of those who deep in their hearts wish for Him to do so.
4. A person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still.

Oh ye of little faith.
You made a mistake, Atheists have a prayer answer rate of 1 percent. Christians and other God-fearing people have a prayer answer rate of 99 percent! The one percent that God doesn't answer is the one, "God, help me win the lottery!"
There is an old saying, if you don't believe in Hell, you will when you get there!

I wouldn't be happy with less than 100%. When I am living my life as I should be (walking close to Christ) my prayer life is at 100%. But because I fill my life with the mind of God you wouldn't except that either so I guess there is no pleasing a God hater...Jim

Christians arent claiming proof of a God. Or trying to find it.
God gave everyone free will. But if you were lucky enough to have a direct line to your omnipotent creator, wouldn't you want to use it?
Why do you call Christians desperate? They are putting themselves through constant rejection, humiliation and exclusion by labelling themselves such - dont you think they have a good reason for doing this? Are they all mad?
If they seem desperate to justify their way of life, why is this? Because secretly they hate it? Or because they know it's the only way to live and are "desperate" that you see this too?

God always answers prayer, sometimes it's not what we want sometimes it's instantly, months, years, decades, centuries later. God always answer prayer on His time and sometimes it's not what we want. ie If a little boy ask his mom for candy and his mom says no, then the little boy says you didn't answer me. Now we can see the mom did answer the little boy but not how he wanted so he ignored it and was ignorant to the fact she answered his prayer. People either don't like God's answer, don't see it, or don't believe it, people like you prove the ignorance and foolishness of humans, good job einstein

I don't know where you got your figure of 1%, but I know it's wrong. Your whole statement (its not even question) is way off base, maybe if you actually do some factual research, or if you talk to some Christians or read a Bible you might understand better. As for saying we aren't normal, we are, notice though you are the immature one bashing us for believing something you don't understand. But then again, most people do lash out in fear at things they don't understand.
