For me I serve through service to my family as wife, mother, teacher and I help in my church. I also serve through caring for the elderly at my job. I am also part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at my Church.

We ALL serve as we are called and in different capacities. All service is equally pleasing.

I serve Christ Jesus with all of ny heart and soul and spirit, I teach bible courses at the local homeless mission and help the men put back together the pieces of their lives with prayer and direction from the Holy Spirit. I also teach at the local prison and teach at the local bible college too.

I am called first to be a grateful child of GOD through Christ Jesus. Secondly I am a father of 4 children. An 18 Year Old Girl, Boys ages 7 and 3, and a newborn baby girl. Raising Godly children in a joy filled peaceful learning environment is a high calling IMHO. After that I am on the Worship Team at Calvary Chapel Heartland. And a few other things. Is that enough?
GOD bless ya

When I lived in California I served through my church. I was on the vestry, was an acolyte, lay reader and served on the altar guild. Then I moved to a small town in western Colorado and I just can't find a place in the one Episcopal Church here. I just can't seen to get to know anybody here. Their spirituality is totally different, and I can't seem to make myself fit in. So right now I pray for people at work and try to treat them with as much kindness as possible. I wonder if that's enough for right now.

I feel called to serve when I know God is telling me to do something. I serve God by serving mankind. When someone needs help, I try to help them. For example, I have recently been told by God to give food to the homeless and needy. This Saturday I will make sandwiches and bring them to parks and give them to the hungry. I will ask them if it's ok if God buys them lunch today. I also feel called to be a teacher for God, I know that I have a lot of spiritual growing before he will use me to my full potential in teaching.

I feel called to serve Christ by living my life as a christian out loud, in front of (mainly) my 3 children on a daily basis. I want not just my children, but neighbors and friends to know that I try to be Christ-like, but many times I fail. I want them to know about and see my failures so they can see that christians are still human, and we do fall short. As in, we don't nor can we ever measure up to the perfectness of Christ. But even though I fail, I won't stop trying to live like Christ.

Every day...when I deal with people on a daily basis...I see old Satan and his legion attacking me an challenging me all the time...Cruel things and lies being said about me..and people being heartless and cold..I serve My Father and Jesus,...by loving them..and forgiving them..and praising Them every hour of the day for giving me the wisdom to know Them...I try to honor Their commandments and witness to others, by my actions..where most people would not have the patience..but because of loving God and Jesus so much and having such a desire to please Them first...I go about my life in a manner people of today would call weak or even mentally ill...I witness when I can even if it is in my actions...which are not vain or self absorbed. I sin like everyone else, ...and pray everyday for forgiveness and forgive others and pray for mercy for others who hurt me..and love my enemies...It is the Grace of Father God and His Son...that I live my life...and i sin..don't get me wrong..but I see myself called to help those that others don't give the time of day...the same type of people that Jesus walked with..at least I try

I meditate, I respond calmly when affronted, and I have compassion for the downtrodden. Responding hatefully to any insult only creates more hate. I also believe compassion is our greatest human quality.

As far as what I personally do, I try and live my life by the example of "treat others as I would like to be treated"
I will, if someone requests, describe my beliefs with them, but I will not force my beliefs on no one. As Jesus said, "Ask and it is given" In order to find an answer you first need to ask the question, with sincerity of truly wanting to know the answer. So, since you asked; here's my answer, though brief as it would be impossible to define ALL of my personal beliefs in one answer.
As with all of us, I am not perfect by no means, but I TRY to live my life as an example of my beliefs and what Jesus has taught as the path to the The Kingdom of Heaven.
This is my opinion as yours may differ.
