Try the Governing Council For Cat Fanciers based in Bridgwater,Somerset,this is where all breeds of cats are registered,they will have the info you need.

Usually, that is too long for me. I think it depends on the guy as well as his face though. Certain guys can easily pull off long hair and others can't.
