It's probably an almost impossible thing to do, him being a guy, but you can just ask him "do you think I'm pretty?" and let him know that this really matters to you. I realize you may have already done that, but if you have, then there's not much you can do about that. That's the way some guys are. It doesn't necessarily make him a bad guy, though; it makes him human.

Chances are that he may not care about these other great qualities but ask him about it. If he doesn't seem to care then kick him to the curb.
