Have not been on a diet in years. My insurance will raise in cost if I don't lose 5 lbs before my appt. Need some good ideas on what to eat so that I don't feel hungry but all I can come up with is soup and celery. That will last about one day before I start looking at the calories in pasta etc. I'm 59 and until I was 45 could eat a house of chocolate for lunch and a mountain of spaghetti with a pizza on the side for dinner without gaining an ounce. I hate being chubby........ Thanks in advance

Drink lots of water. Do not eat anything with fat, carbohydrates, or sugar. This means no beef, no french fries, no fruits, and no juice. No soup either.

Low carb vegetables, like celery, or cabbage is good. Go to CVS and buy a bottle of fiber pills. Have at least one with every meal that you eat. Best bets are baked chicken, celery, and carrots, or boiled cabbage, carrots, and fish.

I wanted to lose some weight too. I have been on the special k diet for a week today and ive lost 6 lbs. 2 bowls of special k a day. they even have cereal bars in case you aint home to make a bowl of cereal. Ive discovered that im not really that hungry during the day. if i snack its low fat foods and fruits. Try it but remember to put some fruit in your cereal or you probably wont like the taste.

It is definitely possible, but stay away from the pasta!! Try eating baked chicken, fish, salads with turkey or chicken. Also drinks tons of water. If it is water weight you could try a water pill. That has worked for me in the past when I was trying to get into that special dress. Good luck!!!

Totally!My advice would be to stay away from junkfood.In other words,try staying away from anything above 150 calories.Exercise everyday (just try jogging around the neighborhood). Oh yeah! and try having salad,wraps,or whatever there is out there that you think is healty. Hope I helped!
