Yes they should be and you also. Packaged meals lack sooo much nutrition that it is hardly worthy eating them. Invest your money and time in a crock pot. You can put fresh meat, veggies, etc. into it and then set the timer. When you get home, "Wahlaa" dinner's done. I have put stuff together in the crock pot the night before and put it into the fridge. The next morning I put into the cooker and make sure the timer is correct and then go to work. By the time I get home, the aromas are surrounding me and I know it is good, nourishing food that's going to make my dinner.

Yes because you are not getting your daily nutrional intake and although you may be able to handle it now and still feel fit and healthy it will catch up to you in years to come. Crumbling bones, blood defiencies, allergies etc. And your body is a vessel, it needs the correct fuel or eventually it doesnt run anymore. 3 fruits, 3 carbs 2 proteins and 5 veg...daily, give it a try, you will even feel better about yourself.

oh yeah. you should be concerned too as you are the one consuming them...got life insurance yet? think you oughta get one...am not tryin to scare you mate but every person in this world would know that eating foods with lots of preservatives and hidden salts/fat content wont make you live long.ditch the easy to prepare stuff and go for home cooked meal and ofcourse your regular share of fruit and veg...

TV Eating Up Family Mealtime
A generation of "TV-dinner" kids might be learning their eating habits from Homer Simpson, according to a one-week survey of 287 fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders in the Houston area. More than 42 percent of the dinners they ate at home were consumed while watching television. Overweight children in the survey reported eating 50 percent of their dinner meals in front of the television, compared to just 35 percent by normal-weight children.
African-American and Mexican-American children--two groups known to be at-risk for weight problems--reported the greatest number of dinner meals eaten while watching television: 62 and 43 percent, respectively. Asian-American children reported the fewest--21 percent--while Euro-American kids reported eating 32 percent of their dinner meals while watching television.
The researcher--a behavioral nutritionist--finds this troubling because family meals are important for children, from both a nutritional and a developmental standpoint. There's a known association between the number of hours children spend watching television and weight problems. Those who watch television while eating also tend to be unaware of how much they eat, which encourages overeating. And studies show children tend to request food products that are more frequently advertised on television--most of which are low in nutritional value.
What's more, food commercials often suggest the use of food for purposes like fun or "image" rather than to satisfy hunger or be healthy, and seldom show how the advertised food fits into a healthy diet. By contrast, research suggests that children who eat dinner with their parents tend to eat healthier, consuming less saturated fat and more of several important nutrients than their unsupervised peers. Positive family mealtime conversations can also build children's self-esteem and foster positive relationships that help children and parents talk through tough issues when they arise.

Those ready made meals have high salt and sugar content so not too good for you. Do you not enjoy cooking at all? There are plenty of easy, healthy recipes and you would also have a lot more choice over what you eat.

There are several reasons not to eat microwaved foods. Preservatives, lake of nutrition, high salt and usually fat content. If you just do a search of risks of microwave dinners you will find numerous articles.

I agree. It's all right if you have them sometimes. I'd say once a week max. Too much salt, suger and calories.
If you dont like cooking, (or if you can't) try meeting up withe friends and prepair you meal together, it fun and you'll learn how to.

You are currently eating far too many additives, preservatives, hydrogenated fat and sugar, this can do long term damage and make you fat! Cut them out and change to home prepared food you will be surprised by how much happier you feel!
