I haven't heard anything like this before. And even if I had, there is no way I would cut off my eyelashes even a bit..

Never put scissors( or anything sharp) near your eyes. Way too dangerous. Your eyelashes will not get longer or thicker. Genetics do that. So do fake ones. Your eyelashes are there to trap germs & keep them out of your eyes. Leave them alone except for mascara or fake ones. Don't even use those things too much as anything chemical could cause them to either break off or fall out. Please don't do it.

I doubt it, but when I was in grade 3 I loved to chop off my eyelashes (Don't ask why) and they're actually really long now. I think it's just genetics though.

No ...Your eyelashes grow longer if you treat them gently.. use mascara remover when washing them or let the mascara come off naturally..don't rub at them to hard when washing

why would you want to cut your lashes? they dont grow longer, and youd make them shorter anyway.
