get over yourself.... Just cause you like Starbucks doesn't mean the rest of the world has to. If the Starbucks management doesn't mind it then you should just let it go....

nothing, you should have done, nothing
you may have been offended, but this is really not your "fight" so to speak
just keep drinking your own delicious starbucks coffee, enjoy the aroma, and try to overlook it..... if you can't, and it bothers you that much.... take your coffee outside and enjoy the beautiful day, while drinking your wonderful starbucks coffee... life is too short to worry about such menial things...that do not concern you...
now, if you were one of the employees, or the manager, I would proubably have answered this question differently. Seeing as you aparently are not, just chill, and enjoy your own cup of coffee.

You should go to a different coffee shop and see what a good coffee tastes like. I don't really mind Starbucks because that is what my wife likes, but there is so much more out there. Oh, and to answer your question, you don't do anything. If The employees want to do something about it, let them.

first get a life and then get a refill for $5.00 Anyone that pays nearly 5 dollars for a cup of coffee can not be right in the head. I think the other person did the right thing.

If the guy didn't eventually buy something, anything, while he was taking up space at a Starbucks table, then he committed a serious faux pas.

nothing,,,, why even concern yourself with such pettiness?
if they had water, or juice, or whatever,,,, it is their right to drink whatever they want,, and wherever they want,,,,is it not?
and ill second the "there is much better coffee" elsewhere.....
i personally drink the equivalent of 5+ pots of coffee a day, minimum....... from Cuban to espresso to Jamaican,,,, i know coffee............. and Starbucks is not a good choice if you want superb coffee, or even above average as far as that goes.

You should be less brand loyal until the places you are loyal to offer some kind of discount. Until then, assume they just want to charge you more for what you buy than it cost them to produce it, which is to treat you with contempt. Why should you help out someone who treats you with contempt?
