Jesus ressurected in 3 days.
Jesus will rebuilt in 3 days.

Why have to wait 3 days when it can be done in 1 day. I believe so because he is God the Son.

God bless.

strangely enough .. as a spiritualist medium , ihave also found connections with the 3 days
i have had spirit come through only to be told afterwards they had passed 3 days earlier ... my own father came through after 3 days
i am told that spirit stay close to the earth for 3 days before returning home to spirit
i wonder if other religions have any similarities with the 3 day thing
that would be very interesting

I am not religious at all, but there's no mystery whatsoever if you are religious and believe in the Bible.

According to the Bible, God is a 3 in 1 job, called the Trinity, being made up of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (Spirit). Each entity within the 3 in 1 God was allocated 1 day each making a total of 3 days for various Bible situations. It was a form of biblical time sharing in those days.

There is no mystery of the accountable 3 days stories. Don't you think if God wanted it to be done in 1 day he could have done so.
I do not understand why the menof this world wants to play with the word of God and change what God has already done. Look around you and see that God is very powerful.

My best guess: (1) for the Father
(2) for the Son

The rebuilding he talked about was the resurrection you mentioned first. Why 3? Because he was crucified just ahead of the Sabbath. He 'rested' in the tomb on the Sabbath, and was raised the following morning.

After Jesus was crucified on the Cross,he was placed in a tomb. After three days,he was Resurrected and went up to Heaven. THAT was when he promised He would return one day.

One could argue it is a metaphoric construct symbolizing the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the three.

Genesis 42:17 shows us this idiomatic usage was common in their culture. Joseph had his brothers imprisoned for three days; in v.18, he speaks to them and releases them, on the third day.

I Samuel 30:12, 13: “For he had not eaten bread or drunk water for three days and three nights,” and in the next verse, “My master left me behind… three days ago.”

Matthew 12:40
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

3 the number of completeness!
any time you see the number 3 used in the bible it is a term for completed, or perfect finish!
