What color is your hair?

I'm thinking about getting some more highlights, but I heard if you do your hair too many times, it ruins your hair! Is that true? I get my highlights from the beauty salon, they like paint it on, then cover it. Ive only had it done once, so I hope ya know what Im talking about!

I get highlights twice a year. It does damage your hair but if you get it trimmed every six weeks, it stays healthy-looking. Also use a conditioning mask once a week... Dove makes a good for highlighted hair.

I always been afraid of highlights... all chemical processes damage thee hair, but that's not the reason, I am afraid of them because I don't want to have a rainbow in my head after, many of my friends have put highlights on, and then when they try to cover them, it always fades with time, and you have to cover them again and again...

I don't see the relation here, but my hair is medium brown with a hidden red hue.

My hair is like an espresso color. I use John Freida shampoo for brunettes and it gives my hair different shades depending on how the light hits it. I love it.

i have highlights. they are blond on my medium brown hair. ive only done it once though

I am blond naturally but my sister has gotten highlights before... it made her hair unhealthy.
