If so , does he seem to look for that person in all the "usual" places around your home ? Mine seems to know only when it's one of his favorite people .He gets all excited as though someone walked in the front door , and then he looks for them .

Yes my dog does. When I am talking to one of her favorite persons, She looks out the window waiting for him to come over and whines the whole time.

Dogs have a better sense of hearing than we do most likely you dog hears the persons voice through the phone, and wants to be near them so goes looking for them around the house.

My dog does the same thing. I thought she was the only one. It's strange how she usually knows when her "daddy" is on the phone and she will go to the window to see if he's come home.

yes, dogs are very smart and eager. sometimes when u talk on the phone they will sit, tilt their head to the side, and wag their tails. they might even move their ears. look at the commercials at u will be surprised of what u find.

yes if i talk to my husband on the phone my dog starts looking for him too. they're so smart and funny!
