I have been sick for more than 3 months. I have some good days and mostly bad. I had not gotten sick in 20 yrs except for maybe a sniffle.
I can't take hardly any meds at all. For pain or anything really.
I had a blood test done. My Dr. said I have high cholesterol/ heart disease. My chest hurts everyday as if someone punched me, it is hard to breath sometimes and I get dizzy. I have no appetite. I am loosing weight but my Cholesterol is high. EKG? had been ran and it was ok.
Dr tried 3 different meds to lower my cholesterol and everyone I am allergic to. Now they say well we cannot do anything else for you. On top of that, I have no insurance since I have been so sick and have no worked. Grant it I am under a lot of stress, and have good reason to be. I try to keep my chin up hoping for some breakthrough. However when a Dr. tells you there is nothing we can do anymore what I am to say? Did they do all they were suppose to? Please someone help! is there someone i can talk to? Im 44

mazell41.. No they haven't done anything but what I have mentioned. I don't have insurance so I am sure they don't care.
I would refuse heart surgery if they wanted to do that. Since I seen what my dad went through and now some of my friends and family. I just want to get well and go back to work. I am tired of starving and threats on my home going in forclosure. I am selling eveything I have...stuff that I got from inheritances or have collected. I just want to get well. But I feel theses Drs. see have no insurance so they don't really care. They do just enough to say they tried.

Ok I will add this. I do not have high blood presure at all. Well at least not when they check it.
And my body is starving from no appetite and of course I can afford much food anyway. I wish there was someone I could talk to about this. However I wounder if there is anyone out there that really cares since the whole world has troubles anyway. I think it is all about how much money someone has as to rather you get help or not, Also if your a child or not. I am not trying to sound negative but I have tried so hard to find help. This is my last hope except for GOD and I guess if it my time to go then I will. I am ready...

kitybaby54 here is what i ahve found.
Program Costs
The Rice Diet Program costs are $2300 for the first week; $1000 for the second week; $800 for the third week; $700 for the fourth week; and each additional week costs $539. The fees for new patients include a physical examination, lab work, meals, and daily medical care. Lodging costs are extra.
This means that an average eight week stay would cost roughly $7000 plus the costs of eight weeks of lodging which would probably bring the costs to at least $10,000. This is an extremely expensive program, especially when considering there are effective weight loss supplement on the market that you can take at home, often at a cost of about $50 per month.
Now I am still searching for the diet. Since I am broke this place will not work for anyone unless they are wealthy. Like I said it is about how much money one has as to how much help one can get.

ok I have found 2 of three meds the Dr. gave me. One is Lovastatin, the other is Vytorin and I can not remember the other or find the bottle. I may have thrown it away.
Also sorry about typos.
