I'm in love with a man that is a youth pastor at my friends church. he is really nice to me but i think he is gay. he isn't because they don't allow gay people in there church. i think he likes me but my friend thinks that its weird that i like her youth pastor. What should i do? Should i tell him or should i just let him go?

Keep in mind: AGE AINT NOTHING BUT A NUMBER! Do you attend a church? If so, then you definitely know how to pray. Pray about it and allow God to lead you. I'm 12 years older than my husband, and we have a marvelous relationship, and that wasn't even under the guidance of the Lord, although I wish it had been, because things would only be better. Nonetheless, you should never have to make the first move, if he's interested, and after much seeking the face of the Lord, you will be prudently directed.

Just because he's at church doesn't mean he is straight.
It is normal for young women to fall "in love" with older men, especially men who are in a caring position - doctor, teacher, youth pastor, etc.
Is your father present in your life? Many young women lack a father figure and tend to develop crushes on other men in their lives. Don't confuse your need for a father with your interest in this guy.
And finally, do NOT tell him how you feel. This will put him in a very awkward position, as he would certainly lose his job if anyone thought there was something going on with the two of you.
Meet more guys your own age and don't think about the youth pastor in a romantic way. Think of him as a friend who can help you make decisions in life.

10 years is NOT too old by any means unless you're a teenager. Since he doesn't allow homosexuals into the church, it sounds like he has some principles, so you might want to consider going out with him.
You mainly want to just be friendly around him and see if he''ll make the move, that is, if you're at least 18.

First of all, he could still be gay and just hiding it...Second, if you are of legal age and wouldn't be getting him into any trouble by letting him know how you feel then tell him. But if he is 17 or older and you are not, then keep your crush to yourself.

I feel age is over rated... I married someone almost 10 years older than me and life couldn't be better ! Celebrating 22 years of marriage now!

Let it go, if you are a minor its called statutory rape & he could go to jail for it! Find someone your own age, usually age doesnt matter, but when you are that young, it does. Oh & trust me, you are not in love with him. I guarantee your feelings arent that strong.

just let it go. He probably wouldn't feel comfortable having a relationship with someone 10 years younger than him, even if you would.
