Whole wheat bread is made using whole wheat grain. It could have some other grains in it, but doesn't have to. Multi-grain bread has more than one grain in it (ex. oats, wheat, etc.) but doesn't have to be WHOLE GRAIN. The best thing to look for is "whole wheat" as this has the most fiber. I don't know why some people say they hate whole wheat/multi-grain bread. I think some sandwiches taste a lot better on it.
