It is really hard to know. Obviously he likes what you two have been having for the past year. He might just want to keep it at that and it worries him that you want more. It is also possible that something more has been in the back of his mind for a while, he might be afraid to rock the boat, he may not be quite ready to make a change. What you should do is decide what you are okay with. Could you continue with the friends with benefits thing now that you are in love with him? Could you just be friends?

Probably not....You saying you loved him would have been the perfect opportunity for him to share his feelings but he didn't. You always have to be careful when/if you enter a sexual relationship with a friend. It adds a lot of stress and strain to friendship and could ultimately cause it to go belly up. Simply ask him how he views the relationship and if he sees anything more than a friendship with "benefits". Hopefully he will be honest and give you an honest answer...Good Luck.

That's how most friends with benefits get hurt, one develops feelings...he could feel the same, he could not, but I think once you step out of the sexual relationship, you'll see if you really have feelings and if he really does as well.

Your relationship with your friend is confusing. I've been there. The best thing to do is tell him how you relly feel for him just like what you did. If the feeling is not mutual, it's better for you to just stay away from him... Yuo deserve to be happy girl.

The friends w/ benefits thing usually can result in one person getting deeper feeelings than the other. I hope you're going to be ok. This is one of the hazards of getting horizontal with someone.

sorry, but if he was falling for you too, he would have taken the opoortunity to tell you when you told him. on the positive side, at least he didn't shoot you down. maybe he wants time to think about what it would mean to be more than bed buddies, but if i were you, i would probably stop sleeping with him and get on with getting over him.

Who knows? Sounds like he enjoys the sex and that is what you have going on! I think you need to ask him if the feelings are mutual!
