I know the ingredients, and I know how to braid regular Challah... but how do you make the round challah???

Twist it, like braiding a rope. What you need is a relatively firm dough that is flexible enough not to crack when you braid it. If the dough is kneaded enough and has the right consistency, the braiding will be easy. Twist it, like making thread from fiber. And get it pretty narrow, because you will have better success braiding it if it is narrow, and will look nicer. You let it rise once after it is braided, so don't think of how it looks when it is done. The strands should look "too skinny" to you, compared to what they will be when they are baked.
