Pulsar has some strainge features like wagon back and trucklet both options could be put on however almost none of the cars survived. Based off the front wheel drive platform Sentra. The pulsar really did not make a splash with the younger car segment Nissan would have hoped for. By the redesign in 1991 weird oval shapes in the front bumper killed off sales I see one or two of the latter cars still running. Just save up borrow to buy the New Nissan Versa Honda Fit Toyota Yarus all very good cars starting around $12,000 with proper financing factory warranty and almost no expence other than oil change the first years should be cheeper with a new car than repairing and tires oil on a 20 year old klunker

take that money, buy a 1995-present civic, nissan built bad cars during those years, unreliable, fuel guzzling, parts are expansive, electrical problems, will cost a lot to fix

if it's been taken care of it should still be a good car up to around 200k+ miles without MAJOR problems...... but there will be problems with any car that old no matter how well it's been maintained
