I don't think they're nasty -- they just feel very secure in their godlike powers, that's all. They don't ask much, heaven knows: only that you be reasonable and do things their way.

And once you understand your place* in a Siamese cat's universe, then you won't have any problem at all with them.

BTW, I love Siamese cats. I cat sat one summer for an entire Siamese family, which I affectionately nicknamed Queen Mama, Chief Consort, and Heir to the Throne.

They were fun and talky and just great to be around.

We've had two Siamese cats and raised kittens, and none of them have been nasty. My friend had a Siamese that was kind of nasty, but no more than any other nasty cat.

oh no. My Siamese cat is so nice. I have a picture of her in my blog. Very sweet cat. Lady and the Tramp was decieving.

icy rain is nasty

I've had a few siamese in my lifetime. They are some of the sweetest cats I can think of.

I've had four Siamese cats in my life, and I love them. They're very vocal, but very companionable and intelligent.

i have siamese cat, shes so clean. she always lick her butt after taking a **** and after eating... shes not nasty as what they said.. for me shes clean cat... maybe it depends on the cat on how you train them..

it depends on the age of the cat if its kitten you can train it and in time it will get used to you but if it was and middle age cat it will be aggressive specially when mating season is around

not at all, a bit on the noisy side, talkative, but mine have always been on the neat side with little mess- no more than any other cat.
