I don't know anything about Mohamed but I do know Jesus personally. The impact of his death was cool because he took on the sins of the world. But his Resurrection was the major impact.. And while we are on the subject of impact wait till the rapture POW!!!!!!
he he he
GOD bless ya!

The death of Mohamed had no impact on Christianity. The death of Jesus was decried as the Jews killing a great Prophet.

As Muslims, we also believe in Jesus as a Messiah. We believe he will COME BACK and bring peace to the world. It actually makes sense that we also believe that he was not crucified. Tell me, if someone's dead, how can he "come back"?? Allah took Jesus up before his death and he will bring him back to the world as Messiah.
I think Christians misinterpret Jesus for the most part. He didn't die literally for your sins.

GOD (ALLAH) bless these prophets - Peace Be Upon Them. ALLAH (GOD) did not leave the THUGS to kills his prophet
KORAN says : JESUS (ISA)
[4.157] And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.
JESUS (ISA) shall come and be witness to the\is fact : Koran says:
4.159] And there is not one of the followers of the Book but most certainly believes in this before his death, and on the day of resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness against them.
JESUS(ISA) did not die for your SINS - you better save your asses from the HELL FIRE by yourselves. Also JESUS IS NOT GOD. Koran says
[4.171] O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector
IF YOU THINK JESUS DIED - FORGET IT. IF YOU THINK YOUR SINS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY - FORGET IT.

The death of Jesus impacted his religion--Judaism--by fulfilling the prophecy thereof, and thereby creating a new religion--Christianity.
Mohammed died and that was it.

Muhammed didn't even come along until 600 years AFTER Christ's death on the cross.
However, note this;
Muslims (and Islam) claim Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross;
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ:
