It is not a "test" so much as a complete evaluation and exam by a psychiatrist.

Yes there are tests, but it depends on the type of delusions experienced as to what those tests are. Delusions can involve any or all of the senses. You are further inhibited by the fact that in modern psychiatry is trying to avoid dianosis until a recurrent breakout as so often people may have one psychotic occurance which never recurs.

Schitzophrenia is not the only condition which manifests paranoid delusions, although it is the most well known.

There is a manual in the UK called "ICD 10" which is like the mental health bible. It contains tests, symptoms of various conditions and the complete lists of mental health problems. I suggest that you start there (it is available online in fairly laymans english)

A word of warning. self diagnosis and diagnosis of those close to you is likely to end in tears. You need to contact a professional. There is a reason that psychiatists, counsellors, therapists etc spend so long in school.

I am sorry that this answer is so disorganised, but without more details, it is impossible to know what you really need to know.

All the best

If you search the web there is actually a test you can take on depression. I know that this is not the answer you are looking for but there are lots of different types of depression and this looks into all aspects of depression and mental illness and tries to help diagnose you. I'm sorry i'm not sure of the site address as i found it a few months ago by mistake. Hope you find what you are looking for and sorry if this doesn't help.

A delusion is a firm fixed belief that no one else has and cannot be refuted and just because youre paranoid doesnt mean they arent out to get ya!

I saw a psychiatrist who suggested I may be delusional and he tried to prescribe anti-psychotic drugs but I refused them. I sorted my own problems and had a full assessment done last year and I am fine.

i suffer from this condition and it is very hard to diagnose, i want to sleep with every pretty girl and i know they want to sleep with me. if i wear clothes they look better on me than anyone else. the way i was phoned out was that i kept boasting how long i could keep on the job for and i never realised thirty seconds could last so long i always felt i had gone on for hours.
